What you need

pinch salt

tsp vanilla extract

cup rice chex

cup powdered sugar

cup freeze-dried strawberries

cup chocolate chips
Instructions
In a large microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate and peanut butter. Microwave until melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Once melted, stir in the salt and vanilla. Then add the cereal and stir carefully with a rubber spatula until evenly coated. Place in the fridge for five minutes to allow it to cool slightly. Meanwhile, add the freeze-dried strawberries to a blender or food processor and lightly pulverize until it turns into a dust (you can leave some whole pieces too). Place 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup of the strawberry powder into a gallon zip-top bag. Add half of the muddy buddy mixture into the bag, then another layer of powdered sugar and strawberry powder, and then the last of the puppy chow on top of that. Seal the bag, and shake until all the cereal pieces are evenly coated. Pour mix onto a parchment-lined baking tray and place in the fridge to finish cooling completely. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.View original recipe
